Bella Zandoná
Bella is an underwater photographer and cold water diver in the Pacific Northwest. Her passion for the underwater world started when she was still a child, but it was not until 2018 when she started to scuba dive and experience first hand the ecosystem she has always been in love with. The realization that not everyone knew what was under the emerald green waters of Pacific Northwest inspired her to create @divingwithbella, a social platform on Instagram where she shares her underwater photography and videos with thousands of followers around the world, educating them on marine life and behavior. From the cold waters of her home diving sites, to tropical destinations around the world, Bella uses any opportunity she has to travel the world and dive into its oceans.
When not underwater, Bella is a Marine Biology student at the University of Oregon and a Laboratory Assistant at the Niell Lab in the university's Institute of Neuroscience, specializing in octopus husbandry and helping the research of the octopus visual system to understand how a completely different brain architecture processes visual information.
