ARTEMIS 6000 VIDEO LIGHT

Marelux is proud to bring this innovative video light concept to underwater photographers worldwide. By combining these advanced features, we continue to push the boundaries of underwater imaging—delivering premium light quality, ultimate reliability, and unmatched convenience.

  1. Fully Wireless Remote Control: The first completely wireless, remote-controlled underwater video light. Utilizing the Artemis 4500RMT 2.0, users can adjust power levels from 12 to 15 meters away underwater via built-in blue light emitters. Remote adjustment is crucial for creative lighting layouts, cave diving, and wreck diving. By eliminating cables, users can position multiple lights far from the camera housing, opening up endless possibilities for underwater photography.
  2. Interference-Free Encrypted Signal: The remote control signal uses an internationally patented, encrypted optical frequency. It cannot be disrupted by strong sunlight, a dive buddy's strobes, or competing video lights. Only the dedicated encrypted blue light can adjust the brightness (from 0% to full power), ensuring absolute reliability in any environment.
  3. Self-Synchronizing Encrypted Signals: Each of the 5 remote power levels emits a unique, independently encrypted signal. Even if a video light misses a signal change due to an obstruction, it will instantly synchronize with the very next signal it receives. This ensures that all multi-light setups stay perfectly balanced and synced at the exact same power level.

  1. Ultra-Compact Sensor Dome: The remote receiver's sensor dome is minimized, ruggedized, and safely integrated into the housing.
  2. Fiber Optic Remote Capability: Marelux also offers an optional fiber optic remote control connection. Using a specially designed fiber optic cable with custom caps on both ends, you can link the receiver port directly to the emitting dome. This allows the Artemis 4500RMT 2.0 to control the light even when it is hidden behind rocks or reefs where the wireless signal would be blocked.
  3. Streamlined 5-Stop Remote Adjustments: The remote control features exactly 5 power levels. When using a remote, divers need to make adjustments instantly. The most critical actions are turning the light on/off and switching to key power levels in a split second to catch fast-moving marine life. A shorter power cycle ensures lightning-fast operation.
  4. Studio-Quality COB LED: Features a premium COB LED with a CRI of 95 and a color temperature of 5000K, accurately restoring the true, vibrant colors of your underwater subjects.
  5. Smart Target Light (Flash Mode): This mode allows the Artemis to act as a focus/target light for still photography. When your camera shutter triggers, the flash signal travels via a standard fiber optic cable from the camera housing to the light's flash sensor port. Upon detecting the signal, the video light instantly shuts off for 0.2 seconds before automatically turning back on. This ensures the powerful light does not ruin your exposure or appear in the final photograph.
  6. Stepless, Seamless Power Dial: The video light is equipped with a rugged, analog dial for seamless, stepless brightness adjustment. Unlike competitors that limit you to fixed increments, this allows you to fine-tune the illumination to the exact level required for your shot.
  7. Dual Ball Mount Positions: To accommodate different shooting preferences, the light features two ball mount positions. If you mount the light directly on top of the housing or handles, you can position the dial facing up for easy access. If you hang the light from strobe arms, you can flip the orientation so the dial faces downward for effortless adjustment.
  8. Innovative Hybrid Construction: The first high-power video light to feature a half-plastic body design. This significantly reduces manufacturing costs, allowing us to deliver a high-performance video light to the market at a fair and highly competitive price.
  9. User-Replaceable Battery System: The first high-power video light that allows users to change batteries freely. Proprietary battery packs are a major pain point. Imagine diving on a remote island and your custom battery pack fails—you would have to wait weeks for a replacement shipment while standard batteries are everywhere around you. Built-in battery circuits add a risk of failure. We believe less is more: keeping your power supply simple, reliable, and accessible.
  10. Robust and Simplified Locking Mechanism: The battery chamber utilizes a straightforward, highly reliable locking system. For frequently used mechanisms, simplicity outperforms complexity. A rugged 6mm screw is the most dependable way to prevent mechanical failure underwater
