Damir Zurub is from Croatia. Damir has been an underwater photographer since 2010. He is the winner of many prestigious awards from underwater competitions. We will mention only a few of them, such as 2 times CMAS World GOLD medal in 2015 and 2021. Once Vice World in 2019. and many more. Since 2010, he has won 147 medals in online and live UW competitions. Since 2016, he has been a MARES Brand Ambassador and SSI Assistant Instructor trainer. In 2011, he founded the environmental project "Think Green", which in 2020 won the prestigious "Yellow Frame" of National Geography award for marine conservation. In 2013, he founded the Underwater Photo Marathon, which today is one of the largest online and live competitions in underwater photography in the World. He is also the founder of the Blue Diving Heart project for SOS Children's Village in Croatia, where children are trained as future diving instructors. His work is published in World famous  magazines such a National Geographic, ScubaLIfe and many more. Damir currently uses Nikon Z7II in our MX Z7II housing.
