Takaji Ochi
As an underwater photographer and a Marine photojournalist, Takaji Ochi devotes himself to photographing big Marine life all over the world's oceans. While working as a photojournalist for a Japanese newspaper until 1998, he won the Newspapers Association Award and the Japan Photographers Association Award for his underwater photography and nature photography as the diving team member of this newspaper company. After that, he worked independently as an ocean photojournalist photographing the oceans and islands worldwide, and he continues writing articles mainly for the Japanese media. Besides, as early as the days when he started to take pictures of big Marine life, such as dolphins and tiger sharks from the Bahamas, humpback whales from Tonga, blue and sperm whales from Sri Lanka, sea lions and great white sharks from Australia, and marlin, whale sharks, swordfish, and orcas from Mexico, he also holds tours to convey the charm of the sea to people.
